by Ida Visit Date:March 8, 2012 Room: Service: Facilities: Location: "Jättefint lugnt hotell. <span style="display:none">[R24 integr.ERR:escaping]</span>" |

The beach wasn t very impressive though and if you rather want to take a swim in the ocean you should not go to this resort. <span style="display:none">[R24 integr.ERR:escaping]</span>" |

by Nicholas Walters Visit Date:January 7, 2010 Room: Service: Facilities: Location: "A lovely relaxed five star experience after a long flight from Australia. Warm welcome at reception and the rooms were large, clean and inviting. Sensational pool(s) that the kids loved. Only stayed one night as we were on the way to Samui the following day. Perfect for us but we wern t after the Phuket scene - just wanted to chill. Great breakfast. Booked early so managed a very good room rate for the high standard of resort. Would definately recommend for a relaxing stop over away from it all. Beware the airport taxi drivers - it s only a 10 minute drive so dont get ripped off. We did! <span style="display:none">[R24 integr.ERR:escaping]</span>" |
I booked via email and then text messaging...it was outstanding to be able to use SMS, January 15, 2009 by TVT Visit Date:January 6, 2009 "beautiful hotel with a great private beach that extends for almost a kilometer before you reach any other resorts.Room was comfortable and clean but not posh. Food was good but expensive for what you received" |
<span style="display:none">[R24 integr.ERR:escaping]</span>" |
booking was good.May be under renovation notice should be provided in advance, August 9, 2008 by INSUK SON Visit Date:August 3, 2008 "Good and bad.Location: Close to the airport (although the taxi drivers charged us 500 bht to the hotel..expensive considering it only takes 15 minutes). We hopped to another resort after our stay at adamas. Hotel taxi was also expensive that it charged us 1000 bht. Don t take the hotel taxi.View: The resort, unexpectedly, was under renovation so only 2 compounds were open to the guest and 3 other compounds with a better view were shut down. Our room did not have sea view but only a clear view of a torn down resort also under renovation. There should have been a prior notice for the construction so that we would have chosen another resort.Gardening could also see some progress by adding some more details - thai elements.Food: breakfast was good. We particularly enjoyed the thai fried noodles. About dinner, however, on the last dinner we d ordered rock lobster by pointing specifially on the menu with my finger. But guess what. What we got was a fin of a lobster (as a decoration) with no lobster to be seen but only PRAWNS. We asked the manager that if this was what we d ordered and he said that s what rock lobster was. That rock lobster is served with no lobster but only with prawns. WHat??? Rock lobster without any lobster meat but just a fin of it? So we argued that he was deceiving us and then he starts to give excuses that we asked for prawn in Thai but we don t speak thai. How could we ask for prawns instead of a lobster when paying for the price of lobster and when we don t know how to speak thai? And why did the manager at first say that prawn cuisine was what the rock lobster actually is how its served and later changed his argument that we were the one who asked for prawn instead of lobster? It is only clear that he tried to deceive us by charging us the price of lobster cuisine while giving us prawns.Mistakes are forgivable but trying to deceive lobster with prawns??? I don t think so.I really don t recommend this resort." |

May 31, 2008 by Stefan Zimmermann Visit Date:May 22, 2008 "Dear Traveller, this resort is all American. If you want to live thai, you shouldn´t book ths resort. The food is very expensiv and to Americanize. The staff also and absolut untypical" |
