If I had known the situation along the main road I should have chosen a still more quiet place to live, perhaps on the beach. We rented a motobike for two days and saw the whole island, that was nice. <span style="display:none">[R24 integr.ERR:escaping]</span>" |

by Veronica Mary Copping Visit Date:February 22, 2010 Room: Service: Facilities: Location: "hotel in a beautiful setting, surrounded by jungle and wildlife and the gardens and bungalows are great. There is a problem with the decking around the pool....its of poor quality timber which has warped badly and if the boards don t trip you up, the protruding nails will! You have to walk along the main road and along a dusty track to reach the beach and/or any restaurants. The shuttle service is only free at 11am, when they will take you anywhere and collect, other times you have to pay. The best hotel we stayed in, shame it s not on the beach! Free use of pcs and internet. Staff are lovely." |
by Susanne Karas Visit Date:January 29, 2010 Room: Service: Facilities: Location: "very nice, romantic resort with very nice staff. we were welcomed very friendly, check in was fast and uncomplicated. you get some informations about the resort and also they help you with any questions you have. the resort is not on the beach but that was no problem for us. they rent scooters in good condition so get one and explore the beaches. pool is ok, not to big, we only used it once because we love the see. reommended resort!" |

Quick and Easy..!, July 19, 2007 by Mark Jeffery Visit Date:July 6, 2007 "Best hotel I stayed in during my stay in Thailand. Staff were excellent, incredibly helpful, and made our stay perfect. Hotel s location is a bit secluded, but not a problem. Couldn t recommend highly enough. Excellent value!" |

Very good, no problems at all!, March 22, 2007 by Fredrik Dahlberg Visit Date:March 2, 2007 "The resort is very secluded with no immediate neighbours, it has lushy green vegetation, palmtrees and flowers. Staff is very kind. Bungalows/rooms are very nice, large and they feel brand new. Outdoor bathroom is nice, shower with hot water and good pressure. Digitally coded safe in each room, large TV with lots of channels, good remote controlled a/c. The resort is some distane away from the beach but it is on the southbound main road. They have motorbikes to rent: manual gearshift ones for 200 baht/day and brand new automatic Hondas for 300 baht/day. Pool is small and not deep, but never crowded. Breakfast is simple: coffe/tea, juice/fresh fruit, eggs, sausages, toast or chicken rice soup (which was good). If you feel you don t have to be on the beach, this is VERY GOOD value for money! Highly recommended! <span style="display:none">[R24 integr.ERR:escaping]</span>" |
Perfect., March 15, 2007 by ALBAREDE Visit Date:March 1, 2007 "The place is new and not as far from the sea as some comments state it (approx. 1 km from the nearest beach: the relax hotel beach) The rooms are very clean, well equipped and the outside bathrooms are gorgeous. The staff is friendly but don t speak a very good English. I think the basic rooms are better value than the more expensive ones which are overpriced.I don t know why the following elements are still mentioned on the website as they do not exist!: *no thai buttler (staff dressed like regular hotel staff) *not 40 staff (approx. 10), *no service of refreshing water when you wake up, or of hot water in a bowl when you go to bed, *no massage... just a regular good hotel but no need to cheat about the service which is nothing but normal. Moreover, we were very disappointed when leaving the hotel, we were asked to pay 150 Baht for a broken glass!!! we had just spent 15.000 bahts in the place and were asked 150 bahts for a glass we had not even broken but had fallen while we were away !! incredible but true... and not very fair. <span style="display:none">[R24 integr.ERR:escaping]</span>" |
Sweet... No probs here., February 18, 2007 by Andreas Adler Visit Date:February 1, 2007 "Really great hotel. We stayed at around 10-12 hotels during our time im Thailand and this one is by far the best one. Ok the location is not the best but you ll need a motorbike to get around on Koh Lanta anyway. Great rooms, great bathroom, great staff, great pool. For 1500 Bath it s a bargain." |

Fast and easy., January 28, 2007 by Sarah Kahi Visit Date:January 15, 2007 "This resort is gorgeous, the grounds are amazing with all the tropical plants and greenery, it feels like a real oasis. The room was great, and the outdoor bathroom was the most fabulous thing I ve ever seen! However, despite all that, the place feels a bit lacking in soul... it was a bit empty, the restaurant was pricey with average food, and was right near the noisy road. I would recommend staying here, but suggest hiring a motorbike and eating somewhere else!" |
Never ever had a problem., January 9, 2007 by Carla Penn Visit Date:December 18, 2006 "This hotel was fantastic. The rooms were large, comfotable, beautifully decorated and peaceful. For the price of 1500bht without a doubt true value for money. A bungalow like this in Australia would set you back atleast 4000bht++. Breakfast was very basic and needs to be improved as if you stay for a week you are tired of your only options: shrimp congee or toast with eggs ham and sausage. Hotel is located within 1km of Long Beach which has great places to eat my favourite being Retro which serves fantastic Italian food also reccommended by Lonely Planet. I suggest hiring a motor bike and exploring the island. This can be done through the hotel for 250bht.The pool was beautiful and very relaxing. I would reccommend this hotel to honey mooners and couples not families with young children due to it s peaceful nature.Would return without second thought. <span style="display:none">[R24 integr.ERR:escaping]</span>" |
The booking service was convenient and easy and I had no problems with any transaction., January 11, 2007 by Leonie Krieger Visit Date:December 5, 2006 "I had a fantastic time at this resort and the staff tried their best to accommodate me, for example I wanted a push bike rather than a scooter to ride while I was there. They were able to locate one for me within a couple of days. I would recommend this resort and its friendly staff to anyone who wishes a peaceful and relaxing time within stylishly appointed surroundings." |
